BUS TOUR OF LIMERICK
Join us on a magical trip around Co Limerick for a guided tour of places associated with the poets of the Gaelic tradition: Michael Hartnett; Daithi O Bruadair; Sean O Tuama and many more, taking in Newcastle West, Broadford; Ardagh/Athea; Bruree and Croom, - home of The Maigue Poets.
Cost per person is €15 and booking in advance is required.
Tour starts outside Dolans Pub, Dock Rd, Limerick 12 noon. Fri 24th Aug.

PUNK POET: ATTILA THE STOCKBROKER 19:00
Launched into public consciousness by legendary Radio One DJ John Peel in 1982/83, he has spent 35 years touring the world as a self sustaining DIY one man cottage industry, performing well over 3000 gigs in 24 countries. He toured East Germany 4 times before the Wall came down and twice more immediately afterwards, was involved in the first ever punk performance in Stalinist Albania and had to turn down playing in North Korea because he was already booked to tour sensible old Canada. He once stood in for Donny Osmond at a gig.

LIMERICK COMPETITION FINAL 20:00
Join us for the grand finale at Dolan's Warehouse where we will hear all of the poets perform their limericks on stage. This promises to be a great night full of fun rhymes and plenty of the famous Irish blackstuff 'Guinness'.
