The Great Bring Your Limericks to Limerick Song Contest
Announcing the Great Bring Your Limericks to Limerick Song Contest! Yes, the Acoustic Club have teamed up with the Bring Your Limericks to Limerick competition to write a theme song for the competition, the final of which takes place Sat 17th Aug 2019 in Dolans. We're looking for your songs that reflect the history of the famous five line verse known as a 'limerick'. No cash prizes I'm afraid but the winning songwriter will be offered the opportunity to perform the song live during the interval of the competition on the 17th Aug in Dolans. Entries should be sent on-line, MP3 format with lyrics, to limerickwriterscentre@gmail.com before the end of July.
